The presence of mangrove forests in Jakarta, especially along the northern coast, is crucial for the local community. In addition to protecting vulnerable coastlines from wave impact, mangrove roots help stabilize soil and prevent coastal erosion. Planting mangroves is a critical effort in environmental conservation and the sustainability of coastal ecosystems. By conducting these activities sustainably, we can help combat environmental degradation and support the balance of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, particularly in environmental initiatives, the Company planted mangroves in the Angke Kapuk Nature Tourism Park as a demonstration of its commitment to the environment. The Company planted 350 mangrove trees. On the same day, the Company also collaborated with its group, Sumitomo Electric Group, to plant an additional 300 mangrove trees in an adjacent area. The total number of trees planted that day was 650 mangrove trees by the Company. With these concrete steps taken by the Company in planting mangroves, it is hoped that significant benefits will be achieved in maintaining the sustainability of coastal ecosystems and helping mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change and other environmental damage.
